The City of Benicia is establishing a list of key stakeholders to meet with the City Council subcommittee and provide specific information about the development of a Benicia Industrial Safety Ordinance. Subject matter experts already identified include:
- Benicia Industrial Park Association
- Benicia Community Air Monitoring Program group
- Benicia Refinery Community Advisory Panel group
- Benicia Industrial Safety and Health Ordinance group
- Benicia Unified School District
- Robert Semple Elementary Parent Teacher Group
- Eastside Families group
- Benicia Moms Group
- Martinez Community Members

Though the subcommittee is wrapping up the formal consultation stage of its process, it should identify and expand its list of consulted stakeholders as it finalizes and then implements the ISO. This list of stakeholders should accordingly include the various formal and informal nongovernmental groups concerned with and informed about refinery operations in the region (and beyond), the environment, public health, industrial safety and related concerns.
