Key Stakeholders

Key stakeholders for this project are individuals or entities that will be directly affected by the outcome of the Industrial Safety Ordinance development project. Groups and organizations already identified are:

• Valero Benicia Refinery
• Benicia Community Air Monitoring Program group
• Benicia Refinery Community Advisory Panel group
• Benicia Industrial Safety and Health Ordinance group
• Benicia Unified School District
• Robert Semple Elementary Parent Teacher Group
• Eastside Families group
• Benicia Moms Group
• Good Neighbor Steering Committee
• Martinez Community Members

These groups will send representatives to meet with the City Council subcommittee and provide specific information about what should be included in the Benicia Industrial Safety Ordinance. As the ordinance begins to take shape, they will have an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft document with the general public.
