✅ Strategic Plan

As part of its path forward in addressing the City's structural budget deficit, the City completed a strategic planning process that would align the priorities and goals of the City for the next five years. The process began in September of 2023 and ended in December of 2023.

The process included stakeholder interviews, a staff survey, a community survey, a virtual community open house, and two City Council workshops.

The strategic plan process helped guide the resiliency planning process, which started in January 2024.

✅ Virtual Open House

October 18, 2023

The City invited members of the community to participate in a virtual open house to ask questions and provide feedback on draft elements of its strategic plan.

The open house took place on October 18 at 6:00 pm via Zoom. City staff and consultants from Moss Adams facilitated the open house. The purpose of the open houses was to educate residents about the strategic planning process and solicit input on the City’s draft mission, vision, and value statements, as well as potential strategic goals. Attendee input was received via polling questions and comments in the chat log.
