✅ Strategic Plan
As part of its path forward in addressing the City's structural budget deficit, the City completed a strategic planning process that would align the priorities and goals of the City for the next five years. The process began in September of 2023 and ended in December of 2023.
The process included stakeholder interviews, a staff survey, a community survey, a virtual community open house, and two City Council workshops.
The strategic plan process helped guide the resiliency planning process, which started in January 2024.
Phases
✅ Adoption of the Strategic Plan
The Strategic Plan and Resiliency Plan will serve as the City’s guidepost as it continues to face a structural deficit and work toward implementing the Pathway to Resilience, a three-part plan: (1) Reduce Expenses, (2) Increase Local Revenue (taxes) and (3) Grow the City’s Tax Base through New Development.
